July began and ended with Virtual Eye Sailing covering the sixth season of the 52 Super Series, with events in Porto Cervo in Italy and Puerto Portals in Spain. Mid-month the Sailing team were supplying our tracking and graphics at the America's Cup World Series event in Portsmouth, England.
Virtual Eye Golf started the month at the Alstom Open de France, before heading to Scotland for the AAM Scottish Open at Castle Stuart and the 145th Open Championship at Royal Troon, finishing July covering the PGA Championship at Baltusrol GC in New Jersey, USA.
Our recent advances in golf graphics were first put to use at the NZ Open in Arrowtown this year. R&D funding from Callaghan Innovation enables small companies like ours to bring these technologies to market, and compete on the world stage against much larger data visualization suppliers.
