December saw Virtual Eye Sailing supplying real time graphics at the Star Sailors League Finals in Nassau and the final round of the XCAT World Series, the Emirates Airline XCAT GP, in Dubai. We also continued our coverage of the Volvo Ocean Race 2014-2015, with the 2nd Leg from Cape Town to Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi inport racing. Virtual Eye Cricket were in full swing for the summer, covering the Australia vs India Test Series in Australia, and the New Zealand vs Sri Lanka Test Series in New Zealand.
When rain delayed play between Australia and India at the Adelaide Oval on December 10 2014, the Channel 9 sports team headed indoors to continue the broadcast. While discussing injury concerns, the presenters were briefly joined by the Australian captain Michael Clarke, courtesy of Virtual Eye.
