The 52 Super Series event one in Cape Town was supported by Virtual Eye broadcast graphics and the Official 52 Super Series App. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the second event was cancelled and Virtual Eye Sailing returned to New Zealand. Virtual Eye Cricket provided ball-tracking and graphics for the first ODI between New Zealand and Australia in Sydney (played at an empty SCG) before returning home the following day.
Our stateside Golf operators returned home after one round of the Players Championship before it too was cancelled, having already covered the Arnold Palmer Invitational a week earlier. The Qatar Masters was also the last event right now for Virtual Eye on the European Tour.
Our people returned home safely and went into voluntary self-isolation. They are all in good health 20 days on. Some have decided to remain overseas, and we are in daily contact. In the immediate future we are completing deliverables, refining our existing services and developing new ones. Kia haumaru, e hoa mā (Be safe, friends).
