Virtual Eye - February 2010

The Virtual Eye Cricket team supplied graphics for the SKY NZ coverage of the NZ vs Bangladesh series and NZ vs Australia series. Virtual Eye also supplied real-time data graphics for the New Zealand round of the World Triathlon Series to broadcaster TVNZ. The big news in February was the 33rd America's Cup - the Virtual Eye Sailing team was on short notice to build the virtual catamaran and trimaran to their custom dimensions and sail specifications, and get 800kg of gear and 8 people to Valencia to cover races on a course much larger than usual due to the speed of the yachts that were racing. Having experience in Valencia in 2007 and the America's Cup over 18 years, we were able to act quickly to get the extended package together.

Virtual Eye - January 2010

As part of our Cricket development program, and with the support of the Dunedin City Council, the Virtual Eye Cricket Team were able to provide coverage of the Under 19 Worlds series for free to broadcaster ESPNStar. Stress-testing the 2010 cricket packages' extended capabilities in a real-world broadcast situation proved invaluable to the team.
