Techweek19 saw many of our staff contributing via panel discussions, presentations and demonstrations of our technology. Virtual Eye Cricket set up shop at the Edgar Centre in Dunedin, and visitors were invited to try bowling on an indoor pitch that was being actively tracked by the team. Visitors could then see their bowling data being put through our system and the resulting Virtual Eye graphics that many are familiar with from broadcast Test matches.
Our Virtual Eye Golf teams covered 5 tournaments on both the European and the PGA Tours during May, beginning with the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow Club in North Carolina, and followed by concurrent events the AT&T Byron Nelson in Dallas and the British Masters at Hillside GC in the UK. The PGA Championship at Bethpage and the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas rounded off the month for our Golf operators.
Virtual Eye Sailing delivered our tracking and graphics at the first ever combined Star Sailors League Breeze Grand Slam and ISCYRA European Championships in Riva del Garda, then provided our services at the Menorca 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week 2019 - the latter including broadcast graphics, live tracking at 52superseries.com and also the Official App of the 52 Super Series.
Above: Our Cricket Operations team headed down to the Edgar Centre in Dunedin during Techweek19, set up our tracking kit and captured 100 different amateur bowlers over the course of a day - Virtual Eye graphics of the tracking were displayed on a bigscreen.
