On Sunday (September 22 NZDT) America's Cup racing was postponed due to unfavorable wind conditions on San Francisco harbour. TVNZ switched from the satellite feed back to normal Sunday programming, which included the show 'Marae Investigates'. The 'Marae' team asked 'What does the America's Cup mean for Maori?". ARL CEO Ian Taylor, Waka Maori expert Joe Conrad and professional sailor Leah Fanstone were asked for their opinions by the broadcast team - ARL's 'Kia Kaha San Francisco' video features throughout the item.
