August began with 2 events already in progress, the 52 Super Series Copa del Rey Mapfre in Palma and the Louis Vuitton Cup in San Francisco - with Virtual Eye Sailing covering both. Virtual Eye have also built sailing simulators and mobile apps for the Louis Vuitton Cup and the America's Cup - in New Zealand, the apps are making quite a splash among Kiwi business and technology pundits (see the TV3 News item). Virtual Eye Golf spent August following the PGA Championships at Oak Hill GC, the Johnny Walker Championship at Gleneagles, and the ISPS Handa Wales Open at the Celtic Manor Resort. On August 25, Virtual Eye Motorsport supplied data and broadcast graphics for the F1 Grand Prix of Belgium at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, and on the 30th of August Virtual Eye began coverage of Round 4 of the XCAT World Series in Stresa, Italy.

A typically busy July began for Virtual Eye at the 52 Super Series Royal Cup in Ibiza. The high-speed world of AC72 racing at the Louis Vuitton Cup began in San Francisco shortly thereafter, with Virtual Eye Sailing in attendance right through to the America's Cup in September. Throughout the month Virtual Eye Golf continued their 2013 season, covering the Open de France in Paris, the Scottish Open in Inverness and the 142nd Open Championships at Muirfield - Home of the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers. Our Motorsport team provided animations, flyovers and analysis for the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Hungary on July 28. On the following day, Virtual Eye Sailing began coverage of the next 52 Super Series regatta - the Copa Del Rey in Palma, Majorca.
