The first week of September began with Virtual Eye Golf at the ISPS Handa Wales Open and Virtual Eye Sailing covering both the Louis Vuitton Cup in San Francisco and the Star Class World Championship in San Diego - at the same time Virtual Eye was also providing event and online graphics for round 4 of the UIM XCAT World Series in Stresa, Italy.

The following week saw the Golf team at the Omega European Masters at Crans-Sur-Sierre GC, Virtual Eye Sailing at the Rolex Invitational Cup in Newport AND at the start of the longest ever America's Cup Finals in San Francisco, while our Motorsport team covered the F1 Gran Premio d'Italia at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. On September 10 Virtual Eye also began coverage of the 52 Super Series 'Audi Week of the Straits' in Porto Cervo, Italy - Virtual Eye Golf continued their month covering the KLM Open at Kennemer GC and the Italian Open at Golf Club Torino, and Virtual Eye Motorsport rounded off one of our busiest months ever at the F1 Grand Prix of Singapore.

On Sunday (September 22 NZDT) America's Cup racing was postponed due to unfavorable wind conditions on San Francisco harbour. TVNZ switched from the satellite feed back to normal Sunday programming, which included the show 'Marae Investigates'. The 'Marae' team asked 'What does the America's Cup mean for Maori?".
