November began with Virtual Eye Golf covering the WGC HSBC Champions at Mission Hills GC, Shenzhen, China - this was followed by the UBS Hong Kong Open at the Hong Kong GC in Fanling and the DP World Tour Championship at Jumeira Golf Estates, Dubai. November also marked the return of the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at a brand new circuit in Austin, Texas, and Virtual Eye Motorsport was there with a brand new 3D 'Circuit of The Americas'. Virtual Eye's F1 season drew to a close with the Grande Premio Petrobras do Brasil at Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace in Sao Paulo, while our Cricket season began at the Vodafone Test Series - Australia vs South Africa, with tests in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

During a Channel 9 pitch report on day 5 of the Vodafone 2nd Australia vs South Africa test, Mark Nicholas, Michael Slater and Ian Chappell discussed how to bat against a spin bowler. Using Virtual Eye technology to show the bowling line of Australian Nathan Lyon against Hashim Amla, Slater and Chappell demonstrate how they would bat against a spin attack (in contrast to Amla's tactic of coming outside off stump). Ian Chappell is also joined by several 'virtual' fielders as he explains how his method for dealing with spin also negates the impact of those close in.
